With the development of China Telecom's international submarine fiber optic cable construction and its transport network, China Telecom has put forth the international network service for overseas telecom operators since 2001 and the services include line-interconnection among different submarine cables, cable restoration, line turn over in the transmission layer, lease of port in the switching layer and signaling transit service.
